Held from September 18 to 21 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), this year's event showcased cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions, further establishing its reputation as the premier platform for industry professionals.
The exhibition featured 362 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions, including Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam, occupying a total of 19,850 square meters of exhibition space. This impressive turnout and wide representation of international exhibitors underscore the growing demand for innovation in the printing and packaging sectors, particularly as businesses seek to enhance efficiency and adopt environmentally friendly practices.
Exhibitors from around the globe praised the event and the opportunities it provided. Ms. Spring Xu, Sales Manager at Zhejiang Weigang Technology Co., Ltd, remarked, "We think the Vietnamese market is truly a growing one, and we don’t want to lose this opportunity. Last year, we attended the VietnamPrintPack show, and we are here again this year. We had very good results last year, and I expect that this year will bring even better results."
Echoing this sentiment, Ms. Pham Thi Tham, Sales Director of DGM Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd, commented on the industry’s potential, stating, "The packaging industry in Vietnam is growing rapidly, and the future looks promising because it doesn’t negatively impact the environment. I believe this was the right decision, and I hope it will reach more Vietnamese customers."
Mr. Thomas Frank, Managing Director of Heidelberg Asia Pacific, emphasized their innovative solutions, stating, "We are not showing one single product, but an integration system. Our Prinect Workflow allows pre-press, press, and post-press integration, highlighting our commitment to open systems and advanced technology."
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tan, CEO of VPRINT Co., Ltd, highlighted their offerings at the exhibition, noting, "VPRINT is presenting a complete range of industrial digital solutions for the roll label industry, from high-speed printers to eco-friendly paper bag-making machines."
Local exhibitors also reported great success. Mr. Hua Thanh Chung, Sales Director at Sansin Holdings (Viet Nam) Co., Ltd, shared his experience, saying, "Vietnam is the most developed market compared to all other Southeast Asian regions. We found this exhibition to be amazing, and we signed many contracts."
Sustainability was a common theme among many exhibitors. Mr. Leo Li, Global Sales Manager at GuangDong YouHua New Material Technology Co., Ltd, shared, "We are bringing some of our most outstanding products to VietnamPrintPack, with a focus on our eco-friendly labels, fully recyclable and made from 100% PCR materials, ensuring sustainability and environmental friendliness."
Mr. Paul Xu, Regional Manager of Guangdong Fengchi Printing Machinery Co., Ltd, reflected on their longstanding presence in the market, stating, "We have installed over 70 flood laminators in Vietnam. It’s a very big market, and we have many customers here, which is why we highly value the event."
Mr. Phan Van Hoang, Director of Cuu Long Co., Ltd, showcased advanced technology, adding, "We demonstrated a modern 6-color offset printer from Japan – the first time such a machine has been exhibited in Vietnam, making it a significant highlight of the show."
In addition to the impressive exhibits, VietnamPrintPack 2024 hosted a series of professional seminars, where industry experts shared insights on the future of printing and packaging. Topics ranged from digital transformation to the latest market trends, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.
As VietnamPrintPack 2024 concludes with overwhelming success, plans are already underway for next year’s edition. The event continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of the printing and packaging industries, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
