Description
COATES SCREEN INKS – HIGH-PERFORMANCE INK SYSTEMS FOR DEMANDING APPLICATIONS
Coates Screen Inks stands out for its comprehensive portfolio of screen and pad printing inks, ranging from one- and two-component solvent-based systems to UV screen and UV pad printing inks. Its key strength lies in providing the right ink system for each substrate, adhesion requirement, chemical and mechanical resistance level, and production speed.
For solvent-based pad printing, TP 218/GL is one of Coates’ flagship series for glass, ceramics, metals and plated surfaces, offering excellent mechanical durability and chemical resistance. TP 253 is suitable for textiles, polyurethane, leather, rubber and flexible substrates, while TP 273/273-T performs particularly well on PA, TPE, TPU and soft-touch surfaces. TP/PP and TP/PP-A are specifically developed for polypropylene. Other strong series include TP 307, TP 313, TP 318, TP 340, TP 400 and TP E-HF, featuring modern formulations designed for demanding industrial applications. TP 313 and TP 400 are also available for selected applications requiring USP Class VI compliance.
For solvent-based screen printing, Coates offers several powerful systems. YN is suitable for plastics, treated polyolefins, metals and coated surfaces. Z and ZMN are designed for applications requiring strong mechanical and chemical resistance, while Z/GL is developed for glass, ceramics and metals. The PP series is intended for polypropylene, and Z-DD meets applications requiring particularly high resistance. These systems are widely used for plastic packaging, industrial crates, control panels, components and technical products.
In UV screen printing, 80UV is designed for treated PE and PP bottles, containers and tubes. 833UV-SF and 852UV offer high reactivity for high-speed container-printing machines. SVC is developed for glass packaging, UV/K for metals and coated surfaces, UVP for a broad range of technical substrates, and UVPO for corona-treated polypropylene. Their rapid curing supports higher productivity and easier integration into automated production lines.
Coates also offers advanced UV pad printing inks, including TP/UV-P and TP/UV-P2 for thermoplastics, TP/UV-R for PS, PC, PMMA and coated substrates, and the cationically cured TP/UV-K, which delivers excellent mechanical and chemical resistance on suitable surfaces.
Nonagraf’s mission is to bring Coates’ technical strength to customers through the Lab to Production approach: selecting the right series, optimizing thinner and hardener ratios, preparing the substrate, conducting adhesion and resistance tests, and standardizing parameters for reliable mass production.
Coates develops powerful ink systems; Nonagraf turns that technology into stable, sustainable and repeatable production results.
