OMSO – Premium Printing Technology for Packaging and Three-Dimensional Products
Founded in Italy in 1952, OMSO is one of the most established and respected manufacturers of direct printing systems for bottles, tubes, cups, caps, containers and other three-dimensional products. For plastic and aluminium tubes, the Servotube range is one of OMSO’s flagship solutions. Its modular design allows flexographic, screen printing and lacquering stations to be combined within one system, delivering highly detailed images, premium gloss and decoration quality approaching that of flat-label printing. Depending on the selected configuration and tube dimensions, the Servotube platform can support up to nine colours and high production speeds.
For bottles and premium cosmetic packaging, Servobottle uses advanced servo-driven technology to provide multicolour UV printing on plastic, glass and aluminium containers in various shapes. The machine can also integrate hot-foil decoration and connect with production-management systems in line with Industry 4.0 principles.
Servojet expands OMSO’s capabilities into direct digital printing, providing greater flexibility for design changes, shorter production runs, product personalization and multiple formats on one platform.
OMSO also develops integrated inspection technologies such as Ecolin and Ecovision, enabling print quality to be monitored directly on bottles, tubes and cylindrical products during production. This supports early defect detection, reduced waste and greater process control.
